ANONIMO presents the WRC Special Edition

08/06/2018

After an announcement last January, ANONIMO confirms its status as the official timekeeper of the FIA World Rally Championship on Italian soil. At the half-way point of the season, and respecting its Florentine origins, the brand new special series chronograph is revealed during the 7th stage by the watchmaking brand.

The collaboration between ANONIMO and the WRC complements the already strong and famed portfolio of partnerships in motor sport, whether it be Moto3 or WTCR, on the different circuits of the world. With common values based on precision and know-how, it is only natural that this brand of Italian origin creates a model dedicated to the WRC as well.

Therefore ANONIMO presents a special edition, taking the color codes of the World Championship to celebrate its partnership with these most important and prestigious rallies. From the MILITARE line, this piece expresses both robustness and elegance.

Easily recognisable by the position of its crown, placed at 12 o’clock just as on pocket watches, its grey hand-brushed dial goes perfectly, and stylishly, with the black PVD case. Thanks to a patented hinge and crown protection system, the comfort in wearing the watch combines perfectly with the guaranteed water-resistance of the case. Playing with the black and green synonymous with the WRC, the functions of the tachometer and the chronograph evoke the intensity of the seconds that flow past.

The fabric of the strap is fireproof, just like the drivers’ race suits. With leather inserted pieces and green stitching, the WRC model reunites the best of Italian elegance and Swiss watchmaking excellence. In tribute to the partnership, a special engraving decorates both the dial and the glass black.

There is no doubt that this limited series that will be shown at the different circuits across the globe will delight the fans of motor sport everywhere.

The watch is now available (on pre-order only) here: https://shop.anonimo.com/products/chrono-wrc-special-edition
