A third career podium for the Tuscan rider who crossed the finish line in 2nd overall and climbs to sixth place in the world standing with 111 points. A Bastianini's late mistake deprives the Leopard Racing Team of a double podium. Dalla Porta conquered the second step of the podium, his third of his career and this season with the Leopard racing Team, moving up to sixth place in the world standing with 111 points. The MotoGP show returns in two weeks, on the weekend of 19-21 October at the Twin Ring Motegi, where the 2018 Grand Prix of Japan will be held.

Jean-Karl Vernay converted his Pole Position into a strong victory in Race 1 at WTCR Race of China-Wuhan as five customer racing brands finished in the top seven places at the Wuhan International Street Circuit. The Audi Sport Leopard Lukoil Team driver headed fellow front-row starter Pepe Oriola in his Team OSCARO by Campos Racing Cupra TCR, as Vernay’s team-mate Gordon Shedden overcame Yann Ehrlacher to claim his first podium in the all-action WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO in third. But that was not it for the three-time British Touring Car champion as he went on to claim the 1st position in race 3!
